Hello, my name is Thibault, I am a 26 years old PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Entomology of Wageningen University. My project focuses on plastic responses of host-parasitoid interactions under extreme temperature events such as heat-waves. I work on a world-wide pest called the Diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) and two of its main biological control agent the wasps Diadegma semiclausum and Cotesia vestalis. By attending this class, I would like to broaden my vision of consumer-resource interactions with other systems and their specificities as well as gain insightful ideas on the various impacts of global change on trophic interactions.
Beside my PhD, I love hiking, dancing and spending long evening discussions about travel adventures with my friends. I am looking forward to meeting you all at the “Consumer Resource Interactions” course.
